International CANTUS MM Music & Culture Festival in Salzburg

For four days, Salzburg will become the scene of musical and cultural exchanges.

Orchestras, choirs and dance groups from all over the world will meet in our beautiful city to perform and share their passion for music.

We also find it particularly rewarding that cultural enrichment and solidarity go "hand in hand" at the Cantus MM Music and Culture Festival.
Created in 1998, the non-profit organization CHORUS MM aims to develop and encourage cultural diversity.
What started with three participating groups extended into a quality cultural and well-awaited event throughout the years.

"Salzburg Singt!" Festival

In the continuation of the well-loved Messiah Choir Festival, we are happy to welcome you to our "Salzburg Singt!" Festival.

Each year, in order to diversify the program, the festival will highlight different masterpieces that will be performed in prestigious churches around the city of Salzburg.
The idea behind this "rotating" festival, is of course to give the opportunity to our participants to explore a new region of Austria every year but as well for the public to discover some different interpretations of the featured pieces.
The festival is open to choirs, individual singers as well as to orchestras.

Born in 2019, under Jan Bechtold's supervision, the first edition of the festival took place in Salzburg, staging Charles Gounod's Saint Cecilia Mass.
